Morning Highlights

We have took early profits for both Ezion and Sinomem.  Ezion is too erratic whereas Sinomem is no longer trending. In addition, we have also took half profit for AusGroup and leave it trailing at 0.665

STI opened at 2611.17, went up to 2629.55 and came down again. The index has dropped approximately 8.11points as of now (12:48). Evidently, market is very choppy today. We’ll have to wait for more confirmations in the afternoon to decide if any changes needed for our pending orders.

Afternoon Highlights

Finally our pending order for Biosensors has triggered after several days of wait…

Market is very volatile today. We can see that the STI starts to trend up nicely at the start of the afternoon trading session. Judging from the movement, high chance that index might be breaking 2647.64 soon. There is a new support at 2610.09.

In Summary,

The market closed up with +13.80points, which the gain is mostly brought up by Jardine shares.  Index is testing short term resistance at 2647.64, and another new support is created at 2615.73 which stands a high chance to be tested in the coming days.

STI 15 min26809 Very support support between 2521.26 – 2591.71.

For the past 3 days, market turnover is at least 3 billion. This gives telltale signs that investment might be flowing back and activities are building up.

A list of BLUE CHIPS to lookout:

  • Hong Kong Land is strong, approaching high of 4.20.
  • UOB had reclaimed back to 17, to watch the high at 17.96
  • City Development to watch for breakout at 10.50
  • OCBC is the strongest, making new higher highs, though movement is quite erratic
