Morning Highlights
Our Focus For Today Is On Property and China Sector
Singapore market started the week with little changed, opened up 4.28 points at 2806.87. Index experienced a pullback earlier and is now drifting sideways.
- Lookout for C & G, SC Gobal and Straits Asia.
- Hock Lian Seng opened at 0.28
- Keppel Land broke high of 3.34, to wait for setups
- Healthcare Sector is weak
- REITs sector resilient but poor performance
We have an open position on Hyflux, which we Bought at 3.38, Stop Loss at 3.24 and Take Profit at 3.52. Current the stock is doing a runaway, now trading at 3.55. There is a resistance at 3.72. (SOLD HALF at 3.69, TRAIL rest at 3.65 – update as 15:30)
Corporate Announcements
Yanlord signed a 3-year syndicated term loan of US$400m – the largest syndicated loan to date for a non-state-owned PRC property developer – to fund its expansion initiatives and working capital purposes. The loan is also to refinance the outstanding amount of the US$200m loan dated 7 Nov 2007.

Afternoon Highlights
The STI continues to drift slowly in the afternoon session so far.
The Asian shares were mixed today in subdued holiday-thinned trade with Hong Kong and China weighed by worries over further property market cooling measures, but the Australian market was rising on gains in resource stocks. (MarketWatch)
Tiger Airways Holdings said on Monday that it has lodged its preliminary prospectus with the MAS on Dec 21, 2009 in connection with a proposed listing on the main board of the Singapore Exchange.
